ANDROGYNE - RITUEL du MARIAGE SACRE

Le but du mariage sacré est de produire l'androgène' divine', c'est-à-dire, "le Christ". Un ensemble de jumeaux n'est ne pas un vrai androgène — l'idéal gnostique — les jumeaux doivent devenir en quelque sorte un. Si les jumeaux peuvent être fusionnés, selon la pensée hautement irrationnelle des occultistes, androgynie sera atteint. Pour ce faire le rituel du « mariage sacré ». Le raisonnement derrière ce concept ridicule, c'est que l'intégration des sexes entraînera l'humanité vers le chaos de la Genèse 1:2, l'unité indifférenciée qui existaient avant la création. (Les faux espoirs de l'occultiste se trouve en recréant les éons du passé, plutôt que pressants sur le composant haute en Jésus Christ, qui la bienheureuse espérance du chrétien.) Que la fusion des jumeaux mâles et femelles pour former un androgyne est des principes fondateurs de la doctrine secrète est indiqué dans les sources réputées telles que l'Encyclopédie de la Religion :

The purpose of the sacred marriage is to produce the 'divine androgen', i.e., 'The Christ'.  A set of twins not being a true androgen—the Gnostic ideal—the twins must somehow become one. If the twins can be fused, according to the highly irrational thinking of occultists, androgyny will be achieved. This is accomplished through the 'sacred marriage' ritual.  The rationale behind this ludicrous concept is that integration of the sexes will lead humanity back to the chaos of Ge...nesis 1:2, the undifferentiated unity that existed before Creation. (The false hope of the occultist lies in recreating aeons of the past, rather than pressing on to the high calling in Christ Jesus, which the blessed hope of the Christian.) That the fusion of male and female twins to form an androgyne is a foundational principle of the secret doctrine is stated in reputable sources such as the Encyclopedia of Religion:

     "...androgynes may be regarded as 'good,' in the sense of symbolically successful, when the image presents a convincing fusion of the two polarities and as 'bad' when the graft fails to 'take' visually or philosophically—that is, when it is a mere juxtaposition of opposites rather than a true fusion... 'Bad' androgynes often turn out, on closer inspection, to be not true androgynes but pseudo-androgynes... These liminal creatures include...male-female twins.      "Perhaps the most important way in which androgynes may be split into two groups, as it were, is in terms of their way of coming into existence. Some are the result of the fusing of separates, male and female; others are born in a fused form and subsequently separated into a male and a female...      "In the mythology of mysticism...chaos is positive; the desire to merge back into chaos is the goal of human existence, the supreme integration toward which one strives. In many rituals, too, androgyny is 'a symbolic restoration of 'Chaos', of the undifferentiated unity that proceeded the Creation, and this return to the homogenous takes the form of supreme regeneration, a prodigious increase of power'...      "The fusing type of androgyne is originally created as a male and female in isolation and must fuse in order to create. The separate components are barren, only the androgyne is creative... The most common variant of the theme of the fusing androgyne is the Two-in-One or hierogamy (i.e., sacred marriage)...

     "...Many myths point out that the permanently fused androgyne is, technically, the one creature in the world who is certain to be unable to copulate. As Alan Watts has remarked, the androgyne symbolizes a state 'in which the erotic no longer has to be sought or pursued, because it is always present in its totality." - 146:277-78 ("Androgynes")
