This is it - PHOTO MAKARA - catch by the WATCHER with the ASHRAM of the GRAAL in the Island of the MEETING and not a theoretical drawing. Here what the traditions say: Will makara is an aquatic animal of the mythological bestiary of India. It is about a creature having at the same time a small horn connecting it with the sea elephant, the teeth of the crocodile and a fish tail. One finds representations of will makara at the same time in the Buddhist and Hindu context. Oldest are undoubtedly those of the balustrades of stûpa, such those of Bharut. The form of will makara will undergo a stylistic and iconographic evolution, so that the animals the component will become less and less recognizable. As from the medieval time, volutes plants replace even its fish tail. Will makara is regarded as a favourable creature related to fruitfulness. It is also the mounting or vâhana of the goddess of Gange, Gangâ, like that of the god of water, Varuna. Our work related to VARUNA and thus the presence of the MAKARA is strictly reserved to the active members of the ASHRAM of the GRAAL. Spiritual work too important for the simple curious one being not initiated has these HIGH presences within the ASHRAM.

Voici ce qu' en disent les traditions:
Le makara est un animal aquatique du bestiaire mythologique de l'Inde. Il s'agit d'une créature ayant à la fois une petite trompe l'apparentant à l'éléphant de mer, la denture du crocodile et une queue de poisson.

On trouve des représentations de makara à la fois dans le contexte bouddhique et hindou. Les plus anciennes sont sans doute celles des balustrades de stûpa, tels celles de Bharut. La forme du makara va subir une évolution stylistique et iconographique, si bien que les animaux le constituant vont devenir de moins en moins reconnaissables. À partir de l'époque médiévale, des volutes végétaux se substituent même à sa queue de poisson.

Le makara est considéré comme une créature propice liée à la fécondité. Il est également la monture ou vâhana de la déesse du Gange, Gangâ, ainsi que celle du dieu des eaux, Varuna.


Nos travaux liés à VARUNA et donc la présence du MAKARA sont strictement réservés aux membres actifs de l' ASHRAM du GRAAL. Les travaux spirituels étant trop importants pour de simples curieux non initiés a ces HAUTES présences au sein de l' ASHRAM.
